Segments
A segment describes the audience once and works in all mailings. A mailing takes the “Send to” and “Exclude” segments, and conditions by order status, customer source and lead status build the audience automatically.
What is included
- Named segments that you can reuse across mailings
- Including and excluding segments in each mailing
- Conditions by order status and customer source
- Conditions by lead source and status
- Segments of contacts only or with conditions
- Placeholders with the contact name and fields in the text
Which plan includes it. Included in all plans: Start, Business and Pro. Plans differ in limits on employees, companies and connected accounts. Compare plans
Common questions
Can I exclude people who already bought?
Yes. Add the buyers segment to the “Exclude” field, and the mailing goes only to everyone else.
Does a segment update itself?
A segment with conditions is recalculated on current data each time a mailing starts.
